The ISO/IEC 17025 standard has been revised with publication date for the 2017 version to be late 2017.
The structure of the standard has been substantially changed, with some requirements from the 2005 version removed and new requirements introduced.
The purpose of this course is to help participants understand the new requirements (background and intent), what is required to meet these requirements and what has not changed.
This course is suitable for those individuals with a comprehensive knowledge of the current version of ISO/IEC 17025 and their current laboratory management system, as the focus of the course will be on the changes to the new standard and what amendments may be required to their own laboratory management systems in order to meet the changed requirements.
Your presenter, Anne Hofstra, is the Operations Manager for the ISO 17025 Sector Programmes, and was a member of the ISO working group tasked with revision of the ISO/IEC standard.
The number of participants for each course is restricted to ensure a trainer / student ratio that will facilitate effective training outcomes.
