The best quality training by the best quality people

Safe food handling

If you are in the food industry, you will be well aware of the new legislative food safety requirements your organisation must manage. Check out these two New Zealand Quality College courses that will help you and your staff get to grips with a sound system for implementing the changes:

Food Safety Management

Food Safety Internal Auditing

Venues

The usual places for New Zealand Quality College courses are venues in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch, although not all courses run at each venue. Check the course details for venue and date options.

If you prefer, we will come to your place and deliver the course in your own setting. The advantage of this is you can relate the training to your own workplace practices and involve staff in identifying improvements.
A great way to provide team building.

Food Safety Management

Preparing Food Control Plans to meet new New Zealand Food Safety Authority (NZFSA) requirements.

This course is for all food producers, processors, sellers, distributors and importers who will be required to operate food control plans, as proposed in the NZFSA Domestic Food Review, October 2007. Those unfamiliar with the new requirements will find this course particularly informative and instructive.

This course will:

  • Explain the principles and purpose of the new requirements
  • Show you how to prepare a management plan to produce safe and suitable food that incorporates good operating practice using the HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point) technique
  • Explain the evaluation and external verification process.
