International
NZQC provides training in laboratory and inspection body
accreditation throughout the Asia and Pacific region. To date
we have run courses in China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, India,
Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, Taiwan and the USA.
Experienced accreditation staff from International Accreditation
New Zealand (IANZ) are used to train other accreditation authorities
and their clients. IANZ was one of the first accreditation
authorities in the region, having been established in 1972
by an Act of the New Zealand Parliament.
Courses provided include:
Lead assessor (5 days) APLAC-approved, for laboratory
assessors to either      ISO/IEC 17025 (testing laboratories) or
ISO 15189 (medical laboratories)
Technical Assessor (3 days) on ISO/IEC 17025, ISO
15189 or ISO/IEC 17020      (inspection bodies)
Laboratory Management (3 days) on ISO/IEC 17025 or
ISO 15189
Laboratory Management (2 days) on internal auditing
(follows the three-day      course)
Uncertainty of measurement in testing (2.5 days)
