New Zealand Quality College is the training unit of International Accreditation New Zealand (IANZ) which is an autonomous Crown Entity. NZQC’s first training course was Laboratory Quality Management delivered in early 1981 in Auckland. Since then, a number of other courses covering aspects of laboratory practice were added, then with the gradual introduction of management system standards in the late 1980s, courses covering Quality Management Systems (ISO9001) and Internal Quality Auditing were added.

Most of these courses were delivered by senior IANZ assessment staff or certification auditors. This practice has continued to the present day, so that course content has been kept current by trainers who work in the fields they teach about. NZQC also has contract trainers for specific courses such as microbiology and lead auditor training.

NZQC has also delivered a number of international training courses for IANZ accreditation partners in Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, Brunei and Vietnam.

Many senior IANZ programme managers have close links with the local regulators and various ISO Standards committees and working groups. Again, this allows NZQC to develop new courses based on new and amended standards, with the aim of keeping New Zealand organisations current with trends in the regulatory and compliance sectors.

NZQC is based in Ellerslie, Auckland. Our public courses are currently delivered in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch, and most of these can be presented in-house at your place of work. This allows us to tailor the delivery to suit your organisation’s needs.
