New Zealand Quality College is the training arm of the Accreditation Council, an autonomous Crown Entity trading as International Accreditation New Zealand (IANZ).

We deliver training in ISO standards designed to help improve your business performance. We do this by training you in how to implement ISO standards within your organisation and audit to them as well. Our training is to world class standards delivered by trainers with real world experience in their fields of expertise. Our training is trusted by our clients, many of whom are long-term. We have been offering our training for more than 30 years.

We deliver training for Telarc certification standards ISO9001 (Quality), ISO14001 (Environment), ISO45001 (Health and Safety) and IANZ accreditation standards ISO17025 (Chemical and Biological Laboratories), ISO15189 (Medical Laboratories) and ISO17020 (Inspection Bodies). In addition, we cover training in internal auditing, risk and compliance, measurement uncertainty, microbiological laboratory practice and method validation. Our training can also help you attain certification and accreditation for your organisation.

Based in Auckland, we deliver courses all across New Zealand as well as internationally. Our trainers can also come to you to deliver in-house courses to a group of people in your organisation. We offer in person, virtual and online training and can customise training to meet your individual training needs.

NZQC has its roots embedded in laboratory training. Our first training course was Laboratory Quality Management delivered in early 1981 in Auckland. Since then, a number of other courses covering aspects of laboratory practice were added. Later we started introducing training in management system standards in the late 1980s with courses such as Quality Management Systems (ISO9001) and Internal Quality Auditing.

With time, NZQC also expanded its outreach beyond NZ shores delivering a number of courses internationally such as accreditation courses for IANZ accreditation partners in Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, Brunei and Vietnam.

Through our trainers, we maintain close links with local regulators and various ISO standards committees and other working groups, hence are among the first to know of changes to standards and regulatory requirements. This allows NZQC to develop new courses based on new and amended standards, with the aim of keeping New Zealand organisations current with trends in the regulatory and compliance sectors.
