Committed to Quality - PhilStic Labels
30 Aug 2021
We love sharing in the successes of our clients. Hence it was no matter for discussion when we received an invitation from PhilStic Labels, one of our previous Internal Audits course participants, to join them in the celebrations on the acquisition of Gallus Labelfire 340, a high-efficiency label printing machine. The only machine of its kind in all of New Zealand, it was acquired to continue in their journey of improving the quality of services delivered to their clients. Managing director Helen Fewings-Holmes said she is committed to pushing through her late father Phil Fewing’s dream of providing top service for clients and achieving quality certification standards in the process. Helen further went on to say that getting this capability is a strong message from us that PhilStic Labels is here to stay.
The event was held on 7th August, coinciding with late founder Phil’s 90th birthday to mark 40 years of existence for PhilStic Labels. Now in the second generation of leadership, PhilStic remains a private family-owned NZ business. NZQC congratulates PhilStic Labels on this significant milestone in their journey as an organisation and encourages them to continue progressing on their path of quality improvement. It is events and occasions like these that get NZQC excited. We look forward to seeing the ongoing successes of PhilStic Labels in the future. All the best!
